HelpSmith is a visual help authoring tool allowing you to create CHM Help files, Web Help systems, and Print Manuals using a single source. The intuitive environment with a straight-forward user interface integrates a powerful Word-like Unicode word-processor with dynamic styles and live spell checker, advanced approach to working with multimedia files, automatic correction system, and many other useful features.
HelpSmith, the help authoring tool from Divcom Software, enables creating help files from start to finish and also enables importing help topics from HTML, Word RTF, TXT files that can be written in multiple ANSI code pages.
With HelpSmith you can provide help files for your application in many output formats including context-sensitive HTML Help files, a standard help format in Windows. HelpSmith supports all the features of HTML Help, allowing you to create the hierarchical Table of Contents (TOC), alphabetical keyword Index, create and modify chm viewer's help windows, and so on.
The "What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get" principle makes working with HelpSmith as easy as using a regular office application. And, in fact, you do not have to learn any technical details to create first-class CHM and Web Help systems and other documents with HelpSmith.
